Sunday evening, Hollywood's fashion-obsessed made a trip to the Lincoln Center in NYC to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of the Metropolitan Opera. The event was sponsored in part by Yves Saint Laurent, so most of the A-List attendees chose YSL for the fête, some more successfully than others.
Why so glum, Ginnifer Goodwin? Your strapless YSL dress is really very chic for the season, and the cuff on your left wrist is way hot. If you're upset about your hair, well, don't worry, it'll grow back.

Diane Kruger is only ever various degrees of stunning (even when she resembles Magilla Gorilla), and in this blue YSL creation, she nears goddess level.

Becki Newton 's green shimmery pocketed dress is fab, and she gets bonus points for trying those YSL cage heels. They don't quite git the look, but they're certainly not predictable.

Amber Rose looks great without the sunglasses - and I love the neckline of this white dress - but the amount of thigh being peek-a-booed is a bit much. Still, she outshines Kanye, and that's no small feat.
The color of Emily Mortimer's shimmery YSL dress is great, but this pose is just so awkward, I can't tell if I love or hate the dress itself.

Actress Parker Posey also donned burgundy for the gala, and while I like the '20s vibe she gives off, I'm not mad about the look as a whole. I sort of wish she were actually pregnant with Keanu Reeves' baby, as was rumored a couple of months ago.

Is Brooke Shields wearing a formal jumpsuit? More importantly, is Lipstick Jungle ever coming back?

Juliana Margulies always had such fantastic curly hair. Why does it look like she hasn't washed it in days?
Claudia Schiffer's long, partialy sheer, shapeless dress does nothing for me. Whatsoever. Not even on a supermodel.
